The Sennheiser CXC-700 earphones

We already covered what Sennheiser was up to yesterday with PX 360 and PX 360 BT Headphones, and today will be the CXC 700 ear-canal phones.

This pair of earphones support active noise cancellation with three profiles made for travelers. It is able to adapt to its surrounding environment with a push of a button.

Mode 1 is good for absorbing low-frequency noise in particular (100 to 400 Hertz) which is good for blocking the noise from planes, buses and trains. Mode 2 cancels medium frequency range is derived from air-conditioning systems in large passenger aircraft and office buildings. Mode 3 is the wide-frequency range that mixes the low and the medium.

The CXC 700 will be out sometime this month, but I don’t really have any word on a price.

Klipsch Image S4i earphones with mic

The Klipsch Image S4i earphones offer exceptional sound quality for the money. They're also very comfortable and, the package includes a few handy extras such as a storage box and cleaning tool. Plus, there's a call answer button, mic, and iPod playback controls integrated into the cord.

The bad: The cable of the Image S4i earphones is pretty thin and tangle-prone, and the included eartips may not work for everyone.

The bottom line: The Klipsch Image S4i earphones offer up sound quality on par with and better than sets that cost many times as much, and they include compelling extras for iPhone and iPod users.

Review:
The Klipsch Image S4i earphones are nearly identical to their sibling, the Image S4. They provide the same comfortable fit and stellar sound quality, but also offer the added bonus of an integrated mic and call answer button, as well as volume controls and remote playback for the iPod. Call quality through the inline mic is solid, though not overly spectacular for a wired headset. At $99, the Image S4i costs $20 more, which is probably worth it for those with an iPhone. The Vizio XVTHP200 visits the FCC

While Vizio is producing televisions like the M260VA and competing with Samsung, they are apparently making Active Noise Canceling High Definition Headphones.

Vizo’s XVTHP200 has a wireless dock for the iPod, and the device has visited the FCC. According to my Source, it features “music playback controls, active noise reduction, a mini USB port for charging, SRS audio processing and a 3.5mm input jack for audio input from other devices”.

Of course, we have no idea when the general public will get a hold of this, but it should be about $310.

Audio-Technica ATH-BT04NC Bluetooth Noise-canceling headphones

Some of you might remember when we discussed some of the new Audio-Technica headphones on display at CES 2011, and they have more.

These are the ATH-BT04NC Bluetooth noise-canceling headphones that support Bluetooth A2DP and hold up eighty-five percent of the surrounding noise.

They are compatible with Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, and I don’t really have much more detail about them at this time.

I do have a price point and availability date, though. Expect them in Japan next month for about 15,000 Yen or about $180.
